LowPro®

Less Space, Better Performance

Our patented LowPro® pressure vessel design uses an external ring header underdrain, providing a considerable height advantage versus competitors’ designs. That means easier permitting within neighborhoods with building height restrictions, and AV’s systems can be installed within existing buildings without incurring additional construction costs. This is especially helpful in cold climates where equipment must be installed inside to avoid freezing.

AV LowPro: Less Space, Better Performance
AV’s LowPro® design reduces the overall height of the vessel

Simple Changes, Many Advantages

AV’s LowPro design reduces the overall height of the vessel with simple mechanical changes like short radius bends and adjusted media outlet placement. The result is ease of operation and simpler and less frequent maintenance while providing a more aesthetically pleasing system for residents of municipal communities without media capacity or performance being affected.

Depending on the contaminant you are addressing and your choice of media, a specific amount of empty bed contact time is required. A LowPro system can hold the amount of media required to meet your empty bed contact time requirement but is manufactured using less steel, therefore reducing pressure vessel cost.

LowPro vessels have less hydraulic head loss, providing energy efficiency. They use up to 25% less energy required by many competitive systems. AV’s customers experience the lowest cost of ownership in the water industry.
